What makes UnderWraps Underwear® different from regular underwear?

UnderWraps Underwear has been specially designed for people who have difficulty bending over. Unlike traditional underwear that you need to step into, our adaptive designs can be put on while standing, sitting or lying down. At the heart of UnderWraps Underwear® is its distinctive Belted Front design, registered with IP Australia for both the women’s and men’s adaptive briefs. The design allows the waistband to be secured around the waist first, reducing the need for significant bending or twisting before the garment is brought through and fastened at the sides. They are ideal for people recovering from surgery, living with arthritis, back pain, disability or reduced mobility, while still looking and feeling like premium everyday underwear. 
Who is UnderWraps Underwear® designed for?

Our underwear is suitable for anyone who struggles to dress independently, including people recovering from hip replacement surgery, knee replacement surgery, back surgery, spinal injuries, arthritis, fibromyalgia, Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis, limited mobility due to age or disability. Many carers also purchase UnderWraps to make dressing easier for loved ones.
Can I wear UnderWraps Underwear® every day?

Absolutely. Although UnderWraps was designed as adaptive underwear, every style is comfortable enough for everyday wear. Our soft bamboo fabric is breathable, moisture-wicking and gentle on sensitive skin.
How do I put the underwear on?

Secure the waistband, pull the front panel through your legs, then fasten the side closures. This allows you to get dressed without needing to bend down or balance on one leg.

Is the underwear suitable immediately after surgery?

Yes. Many customers choose UnderWraps before hip, knee, back and abdominal surgery because the designs minimise bending and twisting. Always follow your surgeon's advice.
What fabric is UnderWraps Underwear® made from?

At UnderWraps Underwear®, we believe easier dressing should go hand in hand with
beautiful, comfortable fabrics. We choose our materials with everyday wear and our adaptive
designs in mind, considering how the fabric feels against the skin, how it moves with the body
and how it works when dressing while standing, sitting or lying down.
Our main jersey fabric is made from 94% Tanboocel® bamboo-derived viscose and 6%
elastane. Our lace styles combine this fabric with decorative lace. The Lace Bralette features
nylon/elastane lace on the outside and our Tanboocel® blend on the inside lining.
Are the fasteners comfortable against my skin?

Yes. We use soft, low-profile fasteners designed for comfort and discretion.
How do I choose the right size?

Choose your normal underwear size using our Size Guide. If you're between sizes or expect swelling after surgery, consider sizing up.
Can I wash UnderWraps Underwear® in the washing machine?

Yes. Fasten closures before washing, use a gentle cycle, wash inside a lingerie bag, line dry in the shade and avoid high heat.

The UnderWraps Underwear® Women’s Collection brings together
everyday comfort, feminine styling and easier dressing. From classic bikini,
hi-cut and full briefs to elegant lace midi briefs, bralettes and camisoles, each
style is thoughtfully designed with dignity, independence and privacy in mind.

Our signature Belted Front design, registered with IP Australia, makes briefs
easier to put on without stepping into them or bending towards your feet,
while front-opening bralettes and camisoles simplify fastening. Soft
Tanboocel® bamboo-derived viscose blended with elastane, delicate lace and
considered details create underwear that feels as beautiful as it looks.
Men's Collection

The UnderWraps Underwear® Men’s Collection combines classic styling,
everyday comfort and easier dressing. Our adaptive briefs and trunks are
thoughtfully designed for men who find bending, balancing or stepping into
traditional underwear difficult.

Featuring our signature Belted Front design, registered with IP Australia, both
styles can be put on while standing, sitting or lying down. Soft fabric made
from 94% Tanboocel® bamboo-derived viscose and 6% elastane provides
comfortable stretch, while a 100% cotton gusset adds softness where it
matters. Practical underwear designed to support dignity, independence and
privacy every day.
